This is the success story of Chakali Anitha who scored a whopping 95% in Class X board examinations and landed as the topper in her Mandal. Hailing from Bijwar village of Utkoor mandal in Mehbubnagar district, Anitha is an effervescent Nanhi kali. She completed her Class X from ZPHS Bijwar and she was taken in as a Nanhi Kali since 2009.
Anitha is a first generation learner. Her father C. Hanumanthu and mother Anasuya are illiterate and survive on farming. Anitha also has a brother who studies in Class 12. Being a first generation learner is a big challenge on its own as her parents had no interest in getting their daughter educated. In fact she was burdened with household chores. However with frequent persistent interventions by Naandi, Anitha’s parents slowly realized the importance of education in life. They don’t want their children to grow up and work as labours and they supported her in studies.
Anitha is a hardworking Nanhi Kali. At home, she had to cope with household chores and hardly got much time to study. But she fully utilized her time in school and Academic Support Centre (ASC) to study hard. All her hard work, grit and determination have resulted in stunning results. She has scored 100 out of 100 in Science, Social studies and Telegu. Her overall % in board examinations is 95%. She is interested in studying Science and wants to become an Engineer. Anitha is full of confidence.
Anitha gives her heartfelt thanks to the Project Nanhi Kali. By providing the Kit, study materials, ASC, and Annual Exam support like special tuitions which helped clarify doubts, she scored excellent marks. We are proud to have Anitha as our Nanhi Kali.
