Project Nanhi Kali has been successful in ensuring that over 90% of the girls in the programme complete their schooling and do not drop out before they complete Class X. The few girls who leave the project, often belong to migrant families who may move to locations outside of our areas of operation. In such cases, the Nanhi Kali team ensures that these girls do not drop out of the education system by helping them enrol into local schools around their new residence. In addition to a high retention rate, the girls also consistently maintain regular attendance and show steady academic progress.
These outcomes are closely monitored and reported through periodic assessments and 3 individual progress reports generated for each girl, every academic year.
