This new academic year started with:
REGISTRATION DRIVES: These drives have been conducted in over 1480 communities where parents were counseled by the Project Nanhi Kali teams on the importance of educating their girls, thereby ensuring that they continue to attend school in the new academic year.
TUTOR TRAINING: This was undertaken for over 2200 tutors, on their respective state curriculum and medium of instruction along with sharing Academic Material that has been developed by the Project Nanhi Kali team.
Over 2190 ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTRES are being opened for the Nanhi Kalis, who typically don’t have space and time in their homes to study. This gives them a stable and conducive environment to learn, understand and practice various educational concepts.
