NANHI KALI PARTICIPATES IN THE FOOTSTEPS 4 GOOD WALKATHON ON OCT 2ND

This year Project Nanhi Kali had the opportunity to participate in the Footsteps 4 Good walkathon on Oct 2^nd, which is Mumbai’s first 10km walk / run and is an initiative of Ms. Jill Beckingham to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s Birthday. The enthusiasm and spirit during the event was truly encouraging. Team Nanhi Kali is happy to inform you that they were able to raise around Rs 88,000 with 41 individuals running in support of our cause including corporates like IDBI Federal Life Insurance Ltd. & Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd. This will enable Project Nanhi Kali to reach out to around 28 underprivileged girls by providing them with academic and material support through Project Nanhi Kali. We thank all those ran in support of our cause.
