GLAXO SMITH KLINE SPONSORED NANHI KALIS RECEIVE THEIR KITS AT A KIT DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY IN JAMPARA, KANKER, CHHATTISGARH

Ms. Sangita from Glaxo Smith Kline and members of the Cluster Education Committee enthusiastically participated in the Nanhi Kali kit distribution ceremony and the Community meeting held on February 9, 2012 in Jamapara village of Kanker district, Chhattisgarh. The visit began with a warm welcome of the visitors by the Village Education Committee and the community as a whole. The Nanhi Kali kits were distributed to visibly happy Nanhi Kalis following which the talented girls regaled those present with wonderful cultural performances. Later, an oath to create a better learning environment, one that is conducive for the development of children, especially girls, was taken by all the members at the gathering. Team Nanhi Kali would like to take this opportunity to thank the visitors, the community members and all others who actively and enthusiastically participated in the event.
