For the third year in a row, women of all age groups, sections of society, and professions in Mumbai came together to run for the cause of girl child education. On 8th March 2015, the dna I-Can Women’s Half Marathon, the only such event in the country, supported Project Nanhi Kali by donating proceeds from the event for our cause. The event has been an ardent supporter for three years now, and not only helps raise funds for our programmes, but also brings together hundreds of women to run in solidarity with their lesser-privileged counterparts all over the country. The event also had a Nanhi Kali stall where our team members helped educate the attendees about our work.
This International Women’s Day, dna I-Can Women’s Half Marathon 2015 donated Rs. 1.8 lakhs to Project Nanhi Kali. We thank dna for their continued support and look forward to a long and fruitful association with them.
