Project Nanhi Kali is jointly managed by the K.C. Mahindra Education Trust and Naandi Foundation.

The K.C. Mahindra Education Trust was founded in 1953, by the late Mr. K.C. Mahindra, with the objective of promotion of literacy and higher learning in India.

The Trust is registered as a Public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950.

With the vision “To transform the lives of people in India through education by providing financial assistance and recognition to them, across all age groups and income strata”, K.C. Mahindra Education Trust continues to make a difference in the lives of thousands of disadvantaged students by offering them a variety of scholarships, livelihood training programmes and financial support. The Trust has provided more than $65 million in the form of grants, scholarships and loans. These funds are derived from the Trust’s investment portfolio, as well as from CSR grants from the Mahindra Group of Companies. K.C. Mahindra Education Trust also collaborates with other corporate partners and individual donors to champion the cause of girls’ education.
