When schools shut for the summer break, Project Nanhi Kali gets into action with interactive and fun activities by setting up summer camps to nurture and enrich our Nanhi Kalis.

Come summer, our Nanhi Kalis across India always look forward to all the fun activities planned at the summer camps to explore and showcase their talents. These camps are held after all Government schools complete their exams and close for the annual break. This year they were held at Vizag, Gurgaon, Barabanki, Chakan, Delhi, Noida and Mumbai. Community Associates from the Academic Support Centres organised the camps in the community, to train, guide and bond with each Nanhi Kali through language, mathematics and creative activities like wall painting, Rangoli, Mehendi, arts and crafts from waste materials, mat making and artificial flower making to name a few.

Individual Donor – Mr. C. K. Venkataraman

Mr. C. K. Venkataraman, CEO Jewellery of Titan Company Limited, has been our pillar of support for six years. He began his support in 2011 by sponsoring 500 Nanhi Kalis, to make a difference and transform the lives of underprivileged girl children. So strong has been his belief in Project Nanhi Kali, that he regularly devotes his personal time to visit these projects in the remote villages. Since 2015, he has doubled his support and is currently sponsoring 1,000 Nanhi Kalis in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh.

We are very grateful for donors like Mr. C. K. Venkataraman for their selfless support to Project Nanhi Kali.

Recognising the Silent Heroes, Our Community Associates

On the 8th of May, 2017, Titan Company Limited hosted a ceremony to recognise and felicitate Project Nanhi Kali's Community Associates from the projects they have been supporting in Krishnagiri. From Titan, Mr. Sridhar N E, Head - Corporate Sustainability and Mrs. Santhi P S, Executive -CSR, were the chief guests for this big get-together held at Denkanikottai.
