| HPCL sponsored Nanhi Kalis participate in Swachh Bharat Abiyaan |
| |

| Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) recently conducted a range of activities to promote the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan with Nanhi Kalis at Gavanpada in Mumbai, Araku and Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. These included a hand wash rally to increase awareness about washing hands specially before eating, that help in fighting diseases. It also had drawing and craft competitions themed around Clean city & Green city, Clean India and Save Water, as well as walkathons to save trees. These activities not only educated our Nanhi Kalis, but also sensitised them in ways that they will always remember, thanks to the fun and prizes. |

Recently, the Benetton CEO, Sundeep Kumar Chugh and the Head of CSR, Namrata Wakhloo paid a visit to a Nanhi Kali Academic Support Centre in Sector -33, Gurgaon. The 66 Nanhi Kalis were delighted to receive books from the executives from Benetton and participate in a drawing competition. Truly, a fun and colourful day for all!

On the 20th of August 2017, a Kit Distribution Ceremony by Titan Company Limited was held for 98 Nanhi Kalis at Bhalaswa JJ 1 Academic Centre, Delhi. Our Nanhi Kalis were delighted to receive the kits from the representatives of Titan. In celebration of the event, a drawing competition was conducted on the themes of empowerment, patriotism and environment protection. The winners received Titan wrist watches. We thank Titan Company Limited for supporting our Nanhi Kalis and for being a part of an interactive event to encourage empowerment.
