Celebrations, the HPCL way

Hindustan Petroleum Corporations Limited (HPCL) has been our pillar of support since 2005. This year, they felicitated their Nanhi Kalis who had completed class 10 with individual Gift Cards worth Rs.10,000 each. It was a celebration of the girls’ pursuit for higher studies and fulfilling careers, and a moment of great pride for all of us.

The grand event was held at Kalavani Auditorium in Vizag, on 17th February, 2017. It was a well-attended event with the HPCL directors and team accompanied by the Project Nanhi Kali team. The event took an emotional turn as the Nanhi Kali alumnae shared stories of their arduous journeys. We are extremely grateful to HPCL for acknowledging and encouraging our girls while whole heartedly supporting our cause.

Health met education at JM Financial Group's Walkathon 2017, a fundraising charity event which brought marathoners to a common place. Nanhi Kalis too joined in this Walkathon to spread awareness about girl child education in India.

On behalf of our Nanhi Kalis, we would like to thank our donors for their unique and committed
partnerships, which help our Nanhi Kalis to dream big and rescript a bright future for themselves.

But our journey has only just begun. There are many more underprivileged girls waiting to take their first step
towards education. Partner with us in our endeavour of putting #milliongirlsinschool.

National Girl Child Day at Chakan and Nashik

Is there a happier picture than our Nanhi Kalis celebrating being girls?

While National Girl Child Day falls on January 24, we at Project Nanhi Kali believe that it deserves to be celebrated every day. 500 Nanhi Kalis with their parents, school teachers, Maa committee (mothers’ group) members and the Project Nanhi Kali team came together for a day of rejoicing who they are, at Abhimanyu Mangal Karyala in Chakan on 18th February, 2017.
